For the Parents
Team 9622 meets right after school for about two hours, three times a week, and then on Saturdays for five hours. All practices are at the Great Lakes Science Center. The team is supervised by teachers and a team of volunteer mentors. Our Mentors have experience with different fields and are generously sharing their time and wisdom with our team. There is no cost to students to join the team. Team gear and equipment such as tools and machinery will be provided.
As a part of GRIDLOCK, students will have the opportunity to attend field trips to locations such as Kettering University in Detroit, MI. Students will also interact with FRC teams from other schools within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. They will also have the opportunity to meet with their fellow FRC participants and solve problems that they are encountering. Students will also explore STEM careers while making new friends and memories.

If your student is interested in being a part of GRIDLOCK, please reach out to Ms. Annie Drechsler.
